Privacy Policy

Effective October 25, 2026

The short version

1. Who we are

MoneyLeash is a product of Bidwell LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company ("we," "us"). This policy covers moneyleash.com and the MoneyLeash waitlist.

MoneyLeash is an early prototype that uses play money only. There are no public accounts yet. A real product would come with an updated privacy policy before you could sign up.

2. What we collect

When you join the waitlist

When you visit the site

What we don't do

We don't set cookies, use analytics, run ads or ad trackers, or buy information about you from anyone. If its tools flag a visit as suspicious, Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie.

3. How we use it

We don't use it for targeted advertising or for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal data or share it for targeted advertising. We share it only:

5. How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist entry until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until we close the waitlist, whichever comes first. If MoneyLeash doesn't launch, we will delete the waitlist. Rate-limit counters delete themselves after about one hour, and hosting logs are deleted automatically after a short period. If you unsubscribe, we may keep just your email address on a do-not-email list so we don't contact you again.

6. Security

We use HTTPS, collect as little as we can, and limit who can access it. No website or storage system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise your information will never be accessed without permission. If a breach affects you, we will notify you as the law requires.

7. Your choices and rights

Anyone can email privacy@moneyleash.com to unsubscribe; get a copy of the information we hold about you, in a portable format; correct it; or delete it. We will respond within 45 days, and will tell you if a complex request needs up to 45 more. We may ask you to confirm from the email address on the waitlist. We won't treat you differently for using your rights. Because we don't track you, we treat Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals as already honored.

US state privacy laws

The Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act (in effect since July 31, 2025) and similar laws in other states give residents the right to confirm whether a business processes their personal data; to access, correct, delete, and get a portable copy of it; and to opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and certain profiling. We do none of those things, so there is nothing to opt out of. Minnesota residents may also ask for a list of the specific third parties we have disclosed their personal data to. These laws may not apply to a business our size, but we honor these requests for everyone. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof it acts for you.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you can appeal by emailing us with "Appeal" in the subject line. We will reply in writing with our reasons. If you disagree, you can contact your state attorney general (in Minnesota, the Attorney General's Office).

8. Visitors from the EU, UK, and elsewhere

If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, and Bidwell LLC is the controller. Our legal basis for your waitlist entry and our emails is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us. For the rate-limit counter and abuse checks, we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our use of your data, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).

International transfers. We are based in the United States, and Cloudflare runs a global network, so your data may be processed in the US and other countries with different privacy laws. For transfers from the EU and UK, we rely on the safeguards Cloudflare provides, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses in its data processing terms.

9. Children

The waitlist is for people 18 and older. The site is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU and UK). If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we will delete the entry.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information you already gave us, we will email the waitlist, or ask for your consent where the law requires.
